So I just finished watching Serenity which is the movie that was based on the Fox TV show Firefly. For those of you who don’t know the universe of Firefly was created by Joss Whedon who was the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Unfortunately, this was one of those incredible TV shows that Fox in their infinite wisdom canceled before their time (Family Guy, Futurama…) and I have just recently gotten drawn into this incredible world. If you have a chance I would highly suggest that you rent or purchase the movie and the TV show. The movie fills in a lot of gaps that they left open after the TV show was canceled (but the Futurama movie did the same thing).
I’m always shocked by the fact that these shows with a deep cast and back story don’t get enough viewers to actually make in in the long run. I’m actually thinking about using Netflix to slowly watch the Buffy TV show.
